I'm an indoor cat, but I still feel the need to comment on the weather. It's been crap lately. Yesterday there was a huge storm and the lights went out for a few seconds.

I dislike thunder.

Summertime

It's getting to be summer time in Maine. Whoopeee. No more snow for me to stare at out the window. Also the neighbor kitties are out and about again. Hanging out on *my* porch pissing me off. GRRR! They are lucky there's a window between us because I would rip them to shreds otherwise.

Speaking of ripping to shreds, during one of my episodes of flipping out about a cat on the porch, I attacked Heather's arm. I hurt her pretty badly and she cried for a while. I think she's all healed now. I couldn't help myself. Sorry.

I'm still scratching everything. I especially like to scratch the new coat of paint Heather put over the other scratch marks. I'm evil, I know. No amount of yelling or squirts of water will stop me from waking Heather up at all hours of the night. It's not my fault she doesn't have a kitty sleep cycle.

So, I'm blogging again. I know you all missed me soooooooo much because I'm, like, the bestest cat ever.

What's happened in my life since January?

They put those stupid pink nail covers on me. I chew them off several times and finally they gave up replacing them. My nails are no longer pink.

To make them feel better, I stopped scratching things for a while. However, now I'm back in full force. No sleep for you!

I helped Heather make ice cream in this crazy ball thing. It was really loud and heavy so I didn't help that much. But she still let me eat some of the ice cream.

I sleep on Forrest's lap whenever I get the chance. He plays his computer games for hours and hours, so I get to sit there FOREVER. It's so comfy. I usually start snoring.

So, it's been like since September since I last blogged. Not much has gone on. I still sit up, eat other people's food, drink their water/milk, etc.

I've also started scratching things I'm not supposed to a lot... like the doorway and the cupboards. My owners are not very happy about that one. They bought these scissor type things and I'm scared they might chop off all my claws with them.... eeek!

In other news... have you heard of this great thing called peppermint? I love it. One of my owners uses a pepperminty mouth wash and I love to smell it on his breath. Recently my owners bought me my own box of peppermint tea bags. YUM! It's wayyyyyyyy better than catnip!

Hey blog readers, I'm back!

My owners put a flea collar on me after my bath. I did not like that thing! I scratched it off a few times but they kept putting it back on. Then they got some drops to put on my neck to get rid of fleas. They took the collar off, but I think the drops are being thwarted by the fleas in the carpet now! BLAH!

They went to the store and bought this monster machine thing. It eats the floor up! It's got a huge eye and makes a horrible noise!

In other news, both my owners are now gone all day. They get up and pet me in the morning, and then they disappear for like 9 hours!! I'm alllllllll alone! It's not fun!

But, I have taken over the couch now:

OMG! That was the worst thing ever! I can't believe they did that to me!!! I'm still scratching so I don't think they "helped" me much! I'm very upset still.

Hmmm... so it appears I have fleas. My new home didn't have them so they must have tagged along from the shelter. It's too bad the shelter workers didn't tell my new owners. I wouldn't have been scratching like this for nearly 3 months!!

Unfortunately that means I'm probably going to have a bath. *sigh* They better wear protection from my claws. I am not going to be fun.

May I have a drink of that?

Hello again my loyal readers!

I've come to the conclusion that drinks taste waaaay better out of my owner's cup. Even if I have the same thing in my bowl.

Last night I had some milk and some ice water. I wonder when they are gonna get some more coke. I love drinking that, too!

This afternoon I got really excited that one of my owner's was eating a BLT at the table. I tried to jump up and investigate like I always do, but the table was cluttered and I slipped. On my way down I freaked out and put out my claws (that my owners were so nice to let me keep!!) and ended up slicing up my other owner's leg.

I'd just like to take this time to say, "I'm sorry!".

(But I can't guarantee it won't happen again)

My owners left for almost the whole weekend!!

This past weekend I spent almost all day Saturday by myself!! OMG! I didn't think they were ever gonna come back.

I ended up eating quite a lot of my crackers because I thought I should add to my fat reserve just in case. This just resulted in me laying on the floor for hours on end.

Luckily they came home. They went to some wedding or something. *sigh* I hope they never leave me again!
